Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at The Perry Art Center in Perry*, GA. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and last approximately an hour. The membership dues for our club are $12.00 per year.
At each meeting, we hold a a door prize(free) and a raffle to raise money for the club’s activities. Items are donated by our members and/or attendees and tickets are $1.00 each.
Anyone interested in Beekeeping is encouraged to attend the meetings and there is no obligation to join. Everyone is welcome!! Hope to see you soon.

The annual fall meeting for the GBA will be held Sept 18th-19th, in Milledgeville, Ga. There will be guest speakers, from Oregon, Nebraska and several from all over Georgia. This meeting will also include a honey show. The rates are $60.00 for GBA members and $75.00 for non GBA members. The cost to join the GBA is $15 per year.
Hello Everyone. This is the registration for our Beekeeping101 Workshop that is on March 21, 2015.
The Heart of Georgia Beekeepers will present a FREE “Introduction to Beekeeping Class” on March 21, 2015 at the Camp John Hope FFA-FCCLA Center 281 Hope Entrance Rd. Fort Valley, GA 31030. This class is designed for people who are interested in starting beekeeping, those who are just interested in beekeeping, or in gardening. The morning session will be in Classroom from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Lunch will be at 12:00.The afternoon session will be from 1:00 PM until mid afternoon (4:00 PM) at a nearby bee yard where students will open bee hives, identify bees, learn the parts of a hive, and see the bees at work. We will have protective gloves, veils, and suits for the students. The class is open to all ages.
